Today's lesson, always have a backup plan. We headed to Barone's pizza in Lisle for this week's pick. Well, it was closed as it is being converted into a new restaurant. Now what? Time for a quick decision and I am one who is not good at making decision, yet quick ones. Forced to I suggested Pete and Johnny's in Lisle. I knew they had a taco pizza on the menu. So off we went!
Luckily the taco pizza was still on the menu, so I saved the day! Yea!
Sat in the bar area as the Blackhawks were on. They won! Yea! Nice restaurant which used to be Jake's Pizza, how ironic!
The pizza's crust was simple and probably store bought., however it was good. The rest of the topping were just like a taco, thus the name taco pizza. The toppings, cheese, lettuce, jalapenos, tomatoes were fresh and overall very good.
Overall, a good pizza that is a little different. Anything special? No. but did I mention the Hawks won!
